Unlike conventional ducted fume hoods, our ductless model operates as a standalone unit, requiring only a standard power supply to function – no complex construction, duct routing or building modifications needed. This makes it perfect for rented spaces, temporary work areas or facilities with limited infrastructure, while also reducing long-term maintenance and energy costs associated with duct cleaning and fan upkeep.
At the core of its performance is a dual-stage filtration system (configurable based on your needs): high-efficiency activated carbon filters for adsorbing organic solvents, chemical fumes, odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and optional HEPA filters for capturing fine dust, aerosols and particulate matter down to 0.3 microns. The filters are easy to replace, with clear indicator lights that alert you when it’s time for maintenance, ensuring consistent filtration performance and operator safety.
Designed with safety as a top priority, the fume hood maintains stable negative pressure to capture contaminants directly at the source, preventing them from escaping into the workspace and exposing operators. The transparent, impact-resistant tempered glass sash adjusts vertically, allowing for precise control of the opening size to optimize airflow while providing clear visibility of experiments or processes. A quiet, high-performance fan operates at low decibels, ensuring a comfortable working environment without disrupting daily operations.
The durable construction features a corrosion-resistant interior (available in powder-coated steel or optional PP for mild chemical resistance) that withstands minor chemical splashes and is easy to clean. The spacious work chamber, paired with an adjustable worktop and raised spill containment edge, provides ample space for sample preparation, small-scale experiments, or equipment operation, while containing minor spills to protect the unit and workspace.
